the behavior of noisy complex biophysical systems can be inferred and regulated by tunable control knobs. we use ai models to parameterize these knobs in simulations to study immune processes

immune cells undergo clonal expansion to produce antibodies that modulate bacterial populations in the gut. we simulate these processes and combine them with ecological community models to infer and control the interactions and feedback between the adaptive immune system and the gut microbiome
